To effect real and lasting positive changes through education.
We commit our efforts and resources in these areas:
- Build schools that are cost-effective and environmentally sustainable.
- Strengthen and improve existing yet under-funded educational institutions.
Background
Mali Rising Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 by Adrian Escalante under the name Daily Dose Foundation. The name was changed to better reflect the foundation's mission in Mali. It's director Yeah Samake, a native Malian, has been with the foundation since 2004. The foundation has no religious or political affiliation. It works directly with communities in Mali.
The purpose of the Mali Rising Foundation is to empower the children of Mali by expanding educational opportunities for them within their own communities.
The Little Heroes Foundation helped us complete a school (Little Heroes Academy) in the village Mana and is now ready to inaugurate a second school in the village of Tanima.
